You can know things in your head but living those things out is a whole other thing.

Dear God,

Help me to trust that you have already covered these things that I’m trying to control.

I cannot give my kids grace if I am not receiving the grace God has given me. Jeannie Cunnion

Part of the beauty of our freedom in Christ is it gives our kids permission to seek forgiveness as well.

When I’m not living in grace it’s very evident in my parenting. I come down on them rather than coming alongside them.

God’s grace doesn’t just remind us of His love, it transforms us.

Your weakness is a beautiful invitation to say to your kids, “There is only One who will never let you down . . . Jesus.” Jeannie Cunnion

When I am abiding in Him, I am a different mom. I can be very productive when I’m not abiding but I’m not very fruitful.

Our kids don’t need us to be the perfection of Christ, they need to see us being in pursuit of Christ.

We don’t become better moms by trying harder and harder, we become better moms by getting to know God better and better.

He doesn’t ask us to try harder, He just makes us new.
